Letters

First and foremost: as the script for this zine was written for Suicide Prevention Day, relevant content warnings apply.

In Fall 2024 I took a mentorship with Winona Nelson, who guided me through the bulk of this project and generously read over the script multiple times. A huge thank to my friends who read the drafts, and to my classmates who shared their time in multiple workshop sessions, where we relived this story again and again. It never really got easier, it’s not perfect, it is messy and I refused to use rulers or adequate guidelines. Parts are left unfinished, but I feel that it how it was meant to be.

A long last, here is Letters, a zine about Dungeons & Dragons, grief, and art as letters to the loved and lost. It is written with much love, for Connett, and for my friends the “Mysterious Gang,” who shared all that time together as adventurers in the Crusade of Moloch.
